Ok, I made my web page in center of the screen so to speak. Im going to put images in vertical order. so 1 image, than little bit of space, than another image below it, little bit of space, another image. Ok, heres the problem. Im creating the website in tables. Meaning, Big table, and bunch of tables inside of it, and more tables inside of those tables. Pretty confusing ha? sorry :( Basically I have this main background image in main table,...code (<*table background=center.jpg> ) Ok, but it fall short. Height of it is about 500, but i need it to go infinity.
I make my table say height=1000, but after 500 pixels there is just empty space, i need it to just keep going.
Basically what im saying is how do u make this background go inifinity as more images are added?

Based on google search i think i need css. But i remember making a website just like this one and somehow i think i was able to stretch it out infinitivly so to speak without css.
Any ideas? :t
By the way, my <body> has a background, its little colored lines.

nvm, i figured it out. I wish i could deleted previous post, but i dont see an option. I wish i had a privilage of deleted my own posts ><
Would be nice to have a little control of our own posts to correct mistakes or delete double posts etc.
Ten minutes is a relatively recent adjustment to this site.

Hopefully, your solution to the problem, animeal, involved scrapping tables for CSS. Tables should be used to display tabular data, not for design layout.

The right tool for the right job. Already enough amateur HTML'ers out there fouling up the internet with embedded midi/wav files and loud backgrounds. No need to encourage more.

I was looking at DLP TVs...then I realised some of the technology came from TI...and decided against it :p

The reason, dear animeal, to NOT use tables for layout is because CSS is better. Your not knowing any other way to do it simply means you need to use the internet and learn CSS. It's really quite simple. Even mireland could learn it.
