Is this a simple task to do? I am thinking of upgrading to a Netgear RangeMax 802.11g router (up from my $30 802.11b router) and if I can use my old router, which works great, as a swith, then that would be nice. Thanks.

yes just disable dhcp

yeap , i do that all the time with my spares routers.

just plug them in into the regular ports, and like the above said, dissable DHCP
