Hi Xtreme

Who is your mobo manufacturer and Bios number (AMI/Award Bios?), what is your system? What did you do just prior to the beeps starting?

Here's a list of Beep Codes that may help

The Mobo is Tekram. When I install all the hardware as usual, just the knew mobo. But when I power on. The internal speaker keep beeping. I ask this question because I have seen it my first time. So I ask for help to find out what this mean to fix it.

Hmm.

Sounds like a temp sensor alarm that won't go off. Have you installed any thermal/temp monitoring software, or maybe the mobo comes with? If so, you may want to check that out.

Let us know.

It's internal, the Mobo support it. The mobo has Award winner bios.

sounds like you might have one of the sensors set to wrong in the BIOS and it is giving you the warning. Does your computer boot up correctly even with the beeping going?, or does your computer hang with out booting up?

Do you see ANYTHING on the monitor when you turn it on? Is the beeping steady..Like beep beep beep beep beep beep

or is like...beep beep beep.......beep beep beep?
What CPU are you using? You still have not posted what MODEL of TEKRAM mobo you are using. Are you SURE you have ALL of the jumpers set correctly for your CPU? Have you double checked your setup in the BIOS? Are you sure you have not grounded out the motherboard somewhere?

How can i post a picture of my MOBO up here?Show me. It's a Tekram P6proA+. There are no boot up or anything show on the monitor. Only Beep--Beep--Beep--Beep--Beep continuous. Is this might be the Power supply case?

If the motherboard isn't a new one, try finding a set of contacts or a jumper for clearing cmos (real time clock) and then try booting.
You would then have to enter bios and reset your system time and any other settings which deviate from the default values.

Hi Xtreme

The board is pretty new http://www.tekram.com/hot_products.asp?Product=P6Pro-Aplus (nice..)

Saw this: "Hardware Monitoring keeps track of CPU Temperature and Fan Speed". Did you install this option?
"Smart Fan for CPU Temp Monitoring" If so, try disabling it.

Make sure you have your RAM properly seated, and what kind of RAM are you using?

If you can answer the questions that have already been asked, we could help you better.

Socalgal, is this true? In my mind I think that it could be the power supply. If it's not, then I'm really in big trouble. Help Help /forum/frown.gif

Try this. Take at all the pci, isa, and AGP devices in your system, like the video card, sound card, etc. (make sure to remeber where each goes) Also remove the keyboard and mouse for now. You can leave all the drives connected, just make sure the connections are firmly in place. Then install just your video card, firmaly preassing it into place. Now take out your cpu, and place it firmly back into place. Do the same thing for you memory. Also, make sure your temp probes (if any) are installed as insturcted by your manual.

Now set you jumpers to the correct settings. You need to know you cpu's mulitplier. I assume your running Intel. It simple to derive. For celerons, just divide your cpu speed by 66 (66 is the front side bus speed) then round to the nearest .5 increment. Like a 350mhz would be 3.5 If its a p2 or p3, then divide by 100. If you are luck enough to have a brand new p3b, then its 133. Now set your mulitplier and front side bus as inidacted in the manual.

Now set your multipliers for the cpu voltage, which should be 2.00 volt. Some motherboards automatically detect the voltage, so this may not be applicable, just check your manual.

Now use use the reset jumper to clear everything stored on you cmos. It should be listed in you m/b's manual. Follow the intrucions carefully. Now place it back like it was before changing it. This should clear your system's setup and revert it back to defualts.

Now try to reboot. Hopefully you'll have a functioning system. Then you can add your system devices (i.e. sound card, keyboard, mouse, etc.) back one by one like you took them out. Power off and restart between each new card. If you have any prob's booting, power off the system, then move the card to a different compatible slot. If that doesn't fix the issue, you may have a defective card.

If these steps don't fix your prob, you'll probably want to drop it by a local computer shop. SEVERAL factors could cause your prob's, but a possibley defective motherboard sounds like yours.
