Hello there,

first of all, my English is OK . . . . but it reaches its end in explaining this, hope you understand what my problem is ^^

My screen resolution is 1152 by 864 pixels

I have the following Wallpaper:

The position is "Stretch".

Here is a screenshot:

Now here is the Problem.
When i deactivate "Show Desktop Icons" so all Icons disappear my Wallpaper looks . . . different. Dont know the correct word for it. Like the gras for example, it looks so . . . pixel like. Argh i cant explain, here is a screenshot, i hope you see the difference:

It doesnt looks so "smooth" anymore.

Why is that?! Just because i deactivate the Icons?

Hope you guys/girls can help me.

What kind of monitor do you use?

Size of monitor?

Refresh rate of monitor?

If you ask me, now you're getting More Detail of the grass than blurred images.

Solution->put the icons back;)

The HIGHER the resolution the better the detail.

Turn your refresh rate up to the max. I bet it will look better at 85 MHz or higher if it will go there.
