I used to use Neandertech as my 56 modem provider for under $6.00 per month. No gimmicks, just straight plain good old fashion connection. Plus they offered decent customer support too. But that was a long time ago. I don't use a 56 modem any longer. I use cable and I pay $45.00 per month for my earthlink/Timewarner connection. Are there better prices for the same service? I live in West Hills California. I'm not complaining about how much I pay. But I sure would not mind paying less for the same kind of service if that is possible.

IPs can be had for free. Just get a router w/ DHCP, and it will hand out IPs for free all day long... :)...

OH, you mean ISP. If you're not a heavy downloader, as said, SBC, Verizon...and I'm sure being in California there are a slew of other providers dying for your business...just get a cheap DSL line.
