I have a Celeron 333,64MB,TNT 16meg card and some games flicker while playing. I have Direct X 7, and the latest drivers(Detonator 3.53)It only flickers on a couple of games (Extreme Biker & Trick Style)I have never had this problem before-Any suggestions?

I'd have to ask what else is running in the back-ground?

Also - what speed is your RAM? 64 should be enough since you have so much video RAM, but if it's 70 NS ram, that might be slowing you down.

Is the game accessing your hard drive when it slows down? - perhaps an old hard drive with a slow speed and a fragmented swap file space is slowing you down.

Have you checked the game manu. web site for patches? - Could be a game flaw.

Is the game accessing your CD ROM drive for graphics when it skips? - might need a faster CD-ROM drive....

Perhaps your answer is there - if not - give us some more details.

Last thing that comes to mind is try turning off any anti-V when you're playing - some read-write functions of games are "suspect" and scanned by anti-V programs slowing down game performance.

The problem I believe is the NVIDIA drivers your using they are known to flicker in games such as GTA 2, Revolt etc sometimes they may not make the game flicker sometimes they do. Download ver 2.08 of NVIDIA reference driver and use them until NVIDIA update thier drivers
