I'm at uni for mine....it's faster when nobody is here obviously ;)....


I get about 5000 then it just slows down to about 4000 towards the end....strange :confused:

Plus I'm in the UK.....so using the washington server....

IMO... that test is not accurate as the one from www.dslreports.com

Work: Down 1500 Up 200 (averaged after serveral runs)
Home: Down 4700 Up 800

crazy eh?

but in Real life scenario, downloads at work are faster, than my internet at home, sort of.

but in real life scenario, my upload at home is really much much faster than my upload at work

I've been using this for a long time...I get about 6Mb/s down and 650Kb/s up at home.

Work is only a partial T1 for now, so...we're working on that....

However, once Verizon Fios becomes available at my house, I'm all over that...

That upload speed seems kinda sad compared to the download speed, hahaha

What can one do. But since I'm not running a web server that should do for online gaming. And the download speed should more than suffice for getting things right quick.
