Best shot is to take out, and put in the RAM again in a different order. Make sure the RAM you are putting on the board will work on that board ( check speed, make sure it isn't ECC which that board won't use. probably won't be able to use 10NS ram on that board either.) If you have different RAM laying around, try it. Remember that the 72 pin SIMMS need to go in pairs starting in bank 1.

Next - verify the HD cables are seated well and are not turned around. The mobo manual will tell you how to put in the IDE cable if there isn't a slot key. on the HD - the red wire faces the power plug in 99% of drives.

Most likely you have incompatible or damaged RAM.

IŽll try that. Its a old Pentium Board for Socket 3. P60 in it. it got 3 72pin Ram banks which are kinda curious...they are vertical. Gonna check this.

I got a old P60 with Mainboard here. It wont boot...i cant get a screen output. It beeps 3 times...which means BASE 64KB MEMORY FAILURE MEMORY ERROR IN 1ST 64KB. Doesnt say anything to me....any ideas howto fix that ?

I tried that. Didnt work. Even if i put no Ram in the machine it beeps 3 times. I tried
edo/ecc Ram too...nothing worked. Any suggestions ?
