I've had a sony STR-DE995 amp for awhile and and in the past not knowing much about neo:6,o anyhoo so it upconverts 2-channel sources to 5.1 or 6.1, my issue is, where's the .1? I have a 5.1 setup and in prologic 1/2 all 5 peakers work as well as the sub, but in neo:6 i only get the 5 speakers and no sub/bass, how do i fix this or what's the deal with that? :t

Try going into your receivers basic settings and see if you have it set to 5.1 and that you have the sub enabled for all processing. I'm not familiar with your receiver but it may have seperate settings for DTS and PLII.

I took a look at the manual for your receiver and it says that if you have your fronts set to "large" that you will not get output to the sub if you are using NEO:6 cinema, NEO:6 music, Hall, Jazz club and live concert. You will only get a sub signal in these settings if you are using a digital source that contains LFE's. :t
