Woo yeah .......... Not spendin' $100 tho
Thats the kind O' fing right enough ........ I'll have to go have a shufty around ;)
I found for small bolts using a 1/4 drive ratchet and extension, I could get very close to the correct torque, with just a small 'nip' on bolts in a 12oclock, 6oclock,3oclock, 9oclock sequence, you know how much pressure to use, and it is only a little, a limp wrist like porschs would torque it up just about right.

A mechanic friend of mine once shared some words of wisdom with me:
"Tighten it up til you start to strip the thread, then back half a turn........."

Murph, just hand tighten them with a 1/4 drive ratchet and socket, then give about a 1/4 turn beyond and they should be fine, otherwise, choke up the bucks for the little torque wrench ya tight @rse ;)

The day ya need a torque wrench on a car hasn't arrived, just nip them up with a 1/4 drive ratchet. If ya wanna spend 30quid, spend it on the ratchet and sockets, good quality, if ya can get a good one that cheap, try hazet.l

The days of toffee tools has well & truely gone here in €uroland, our quality standards have helped a treat.......... Can't speak for the third world tho :t
I thought Hazet were German tools. They are definately better quality than your used to.
