I'm updating my system and I've narrowed my vid card choice down to two. I plan to OC the card. 1) Radeon x800GTO2 2) GeForce 6800GS. Overclocking potential will be a big factor,also, does anyone know of any side by side reviews of these cards that include OC'ing results?

Well, the X800GTO2 has been well known for it's capability to be flashed to an X850XT, so that would probably be your best overclocker imo.
