Does this Product Activation trick work?

Greetings Sysopters,

I haven't tried the trick that involves saving the two files called Wpa.dbl and Wpa.bak, usually located in the C:\Windows\system32 folder, and then replacing them after reinstalling XP in order to avoid having to reactivation.

Can anyone report that it does work. Or is it just misinformation?

It doesn't matter. We can't talk about it here. Period!

Activation takes less than 5 minutes on the phone with a computer on the other end. It is quick and painless so just do it again.
