I tryed to upgrade my V550 bios from 1.93e to 1.95 with dflash.exe (i got it on Diamond's Site) and I got an error message.
When I boot my cpu, my video card wasn't working anymore. I tryed to create a new ROM file from another V550 I have, but I can't use it on my board since the dflash programm doesn't recon my video board as a Diamond's V550. Does anybody knows how to program the flash memory w/ another application?

Ok, I see if you tried a second flash it will allow the PC to have VGA and boot?
If not install a PCI video card one slot away from the AGP slot. Leave the Viper in it. The PC will boot on the other card so connect the monitor to it. Now download another (hopefully good) copy of the flash program again, and flash the card... it just might work.

Other than that, if it stops because it can't recognize the current bios, then you might have to figure out how to edit the .bin file to allow flashing a non-recognized video card, so it forces the flash.

If not, then it's toast.

Good Luck!
