Try changing mem timings check cas setting is it 2 or 3 if its 2 try 3 change burst settings to a higher value 3-2-2 etc.. Try removimg one of the ram chips see if this helps if it does you most likely have a timing problem.
Also you my want to start windows with a bootlog file and review the last device or file loaded
Load bios defaults and reboot if pc reboots
go back and tweak bios
MAKE CHANGES TO BIOS ONE AT A TIME AND REBOOT!

when does it happen ? with the same program or diff programs ? and is the error code always the same are do the #'s change
if it's the same program all the time and the it's the program try uninstalling it. defragment your hard drive and reinstall.
if it does it with diff programs and the errors always the same exactly the same. you have a bad memery chip or your cas setting are to high more than likly the chip is bad though and changing the cas may or may not help

my memery setting are in the Chipset Features setup part of my bios, for yours you'll have to look for them but should be in the same part most are the same as to where every thing is if you have a manual for your motherboard look there if not go to your motherboards wed site and see if you can down load a copy.
anyway your looking for
SDRAM configuration
SDRAM CAS Latency
"" RAS Precharge time
"" RAS to CAS Delay
(should look like that might say it a little diff though )
if the configruation is not set to auto or in my case (by SPD) set it there first and see what happens
if that still does not help change it to manual and set CAS latency to 3T, RAS to 2T, RAS to CAS to 2T,
If you still have problems set them all to 3T.
there are some othere settings that you can change as in
Enhanced page mode
Internal page detection
SDRAM pipe function
SDRAAM x111-2111 mode
you can try enabling or disabling them one by one DONT do more than 1 at a time or you will not know what did what to your system
if you enable one and every thing works fine leave it that way if you get errors disable it
any way that is how my bios looks your's might be diff so if you can get your mobo's manual it should show you the defalt settings for every thing .
hope this helps /forum/smile.gif
