I can’t say I disagree with Valve, it takes away from the realism of the game when you running round a desert city or High-rise and you see a perfect intact subway sign not my cupa tea at all.

If they do it right, it could be ok. It may actually add realism if it's done correctly.

Mmm... Subway...

I agree that if done right, in-game advertising could be a good thing. Might even bring down the costs of games as well, which definantly fits in the "good thing" catagory.

It would have to be properly done, for instance it would be a bit silly having a "Subway" Ad. in De_Dust, as AFAIK, there arent too many Subway deli's in middle eastern terrorist hotspots (correct me if im wrong)
