On my machine I have a Sumsung 214t LCD and a 7800gtx card. but i cannot get it switched over to using the digital connection to the monitor. When I right click the desktop and choose settings, I cannot see the visual of two monitors....which I was told was where I select the second monitor image and that is the digital interface???
Mine does not display both images .....the ones with the numbers 1 and 2 on them.
Am I in the ballpark........and is this digital hook-up much better than the analog one?
It's used mostly for gaming BTW.

Have you activated the nView Desktop Manager in Display Properties?
Yes - digital is superior where it's an option.

Apparently not. I do see that screen(the one with the two monitors) on my other computer. How do i go about doing that??

Oh, ok.....looks simple enough. Once I enable it....will it be fairly clear as to how i get the digital interface working?? Is there other settings....I'm assuming on the two monitor page......I click the second monitor and do.......what?

I don't know for sure. I don't have 2 monitors.
You'll muddle your way through.

I don't have two monitors either, but the tech guy at my local MicroCenter told me that was how I get the 1 monitor I have set-up to use the Digital interface. ( on the two monitor page area of display settings click on the second one and do something?) I haven't muddled yet but will in a bit. I'll report back so maybe others may learn. It should not be difficult.
