Hello all,

I have a PCchips P2/366 with SiS chipset *gag*

Everything works fine(i'm surprised too!)
until I try to install a nic card(i'm not surprised).

When I try to boot up, The hd powers up then nothing. The bios eventually comes up after two or three minutes and hangs durring the Plug and Play ISA init screen, if it comes up at all.

I have tried two working nics. A 3Com will start the computer but windows says it's not working and the AOpen nic just hangs the bugger.

Any help on this one??

Thanks,

RD

If the NICs are known to be good then it could possibly be a BIOS plug and play issue/ resource conflict. Are these ISA NICs or PCI, are they plug and play, and have you tried using a PCI NIC?
