Ok, I got my CPU to come up at the right speed, but now my system hangs 4/5 of the time when I start-up. It happens after I get the Award bios message and normally won't even let me hit delete to try and fix things.

The funny thing is, I left it running last night and it worked fine this morning. It's only when starting that I get problems.

System
PIII 533
Abit BX-6

PS where can I find the newest bios for my board to flash.

Your best bet for the correct BIOS is the mobo manufacturer who will typically put it on their web site
along with instructions on how to properly flash the EPROM with the new information file.
ALWAYS choose to back-up the old file and write down what you called it.
Typically, I'll place a copy on the hard drive and on a boot floppy so that, should I have to restore, I can, one way or the other.
Another place to look for the BIOS is the Phoenix/Award web page., but, most of the time, they will attempt to direct you to the mobo manu page, or,
in the case of older BIOS they no longer support, to one of their two prefered vendors who will write you a new one for about $70.
