I'm running 4 pc's behind a mixed wired/wireless linksys and i'm wondering if there is a way to monitor the total input/output from the router and not the individual comps. I seem to be losing speed and connections at times and i'm trying to narrow down the problem as i have and use a good amount of detection programs. (avg,spybot,etc etc.)

Have you upgraded the Linksys to the latest firmware yet?

I had problems with my Linksys, then replaced it with a higher speed D-Link when I couldn't eliminate the problems.

Both AVG and Spybot are light on resources. I have them both running on an elderly PIII 500 machine with no problems.

What else do you have running?

Your troubles may not be the fault of your router. You might want to list your entire system (HW,SW) and perhaps someone could spot a conflict or deficiency.
