Hello all,

I am going to be completing high school soon, and thus college is now a question.

As would stand to reason from my posting on this web site, I am very interested in computers. I've dabbled in programming, networking, and servicing computers. Nothing very intensive or in-depth of course.

Having said that, I am not quite certain what field I wish to pursue and what job/career would be the best to pursue.

So any feedback from you guys with experience in this or just suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

And no, I am not going to use Sysopt as my sole source of information in regards to this topic  :)

It all depends on what you want out of life: how many doors you would like to be open to you; is happiness and success defined as financial security or happiness in your job, or both, etc.

That said, the "magic" combo has been for a while, and still is, an EE degree with an MBA. But it's that EE degree that kick-starts it. If you look around, you'll see successful EE's in every field. Very versatile, and companies know that, in general, you can't skate through college and earn an EE degree--they figure you've got more than the average amount of activity going on upstairs.
