6800GS Power

I just got a 6800gs pci-e and my old ati x800 didnt need more power but this 6800gs have a 6 pin plug. My question is I have a cable from the power supply with 2 4 pin plus on it can I plug both the 6800gs 4 pins on it or do they need to be on diffrent cables even it it has to share with a CDrom?

i believe the intent is for you to use 2 separate rails.

normally, you don't want to have anything else on the lines, but it's pretty rare for people to have 2 molex lines unused.
