i have a pc100 32mb 10ns ram
and i just got a 128 mb 8ns ram recently
is the 8ns compatible with the 10ns one?
if so, will i lose any performance because of that? wil my ram run at 8ns or 10ns or can i set for both to run at a separate speed?

Unless you overclocking on a front side bus over 100mhz, then drop both chips in, and change your timings(found in your cmos setup) to 10ns. This will ensure stablity, and difference between 10 and 8 ns is extremely small.

Experiment!See how high you can push the FSB with the 10ns in.Then, take it out and see what you can push it to.Also, check to see if your sticks are Cas2 or Cas3.This can make a big difference......DawgTuff.
