I hear that Microsoft are recalling all the new Xbox 360's - has any one here heard anything about it?

The faulty ones (overheating, crashes etc. plagued some of the early batches) can be returned to MS free of charge where they will be repaired and sent back out at no cost to the cosumer. Thats my undertsanding of it.

Which falls under the category of warranty protection. There is no recall. The overwhelming majority (96% range) of 360 owners had no such problems. So, yeah, no recall.

Bout time... My friend bought one and it's been freezing. I was wondering if they were gonna recall. :D

dude they said they would do that weeks ago, just 2 or 3 days after release.
