Battlefield 2 and trainers...???

Ok, so sometimes you just wanna be able to run around and blow stuff up without dying or running out of ammo right? Well there's no God mode built into BF2 so I got this trainer which said it had God mode and it doesn't work... The hotkeys either have no effect at all or they crash the game. I have tried 2 different trainers all of which crash the game or have no effect. Also I tried unlocking the weapons and I've done it right, changed all the 0's to 1's in the file but they are not unlocked in the game. Game is patched with 1.12. Anybody know what's going on here?

I know what is going on. None of the trainers/cheats work with any of the patches past 1.02, only the original version.

You could try this mod, but it works with 1.02 only.

Wow that's weird... So did EA make a bug in the patch or did they do it on purpose?

I don't know EA's reasoning for it, just what the consequences were. :(

I liked the fact that I could preview the weapons before unlocking them, otherwise I wouldn't have known which weapons to unlock with my hard-earned online time!
