Hi everyone,

Merry Christmas to everyone.

Is there a program or a way to find out what files are installed during an installation of a program. i.e. what .dlls, exe, ,etc. are installed and where are they installed. After deleating a program there are many files left orphaned by the uninstall method. I know there are many cleanup programs out there that claim to find un-needed files, but I would like to see a log or something that tells me what was installed during an installation. So I can go in there and clean up it myself and no that this or that file is not needed.

Any assistance is appreciated.

Thank you,
Craig

Maybe something like Easy Cleaner from ToniArts would work for you. It will run various scans and report unneeded files for you to delete from within the EC envirnment. Easy Cleaner has an "undo" button and is donation-ware.

Another freeware is CCleaner. Arguably more powerful than Easy Cleaner but also far less forgiving...no "undo" button. Do your backups before using this one.
