Now i've got a damned good argument for all the dual-core naysayers. Bigjakkstaffa 12-25-2005, 05:08 PM It would seem that Dual Core's are of great usage in environments where number crunching is key (i.e. gaming at low res with little/no effects, as seen in the Q4 @ 800x600 results). However in environments where a specific element of performance is key i.e. graphical effects, it would seem that money woudl be better spent elswhere, e.g. on a more beefy video card, as seen in the case of Q4@Highres with AA/AF. All in all, a double edged argument. However the performance improvments are there to be seen, quite clearly too --Jakk:t SysOpt.com
