I just got a sblive xgamer sound card. It has two connectors, one 4 pin for analog audio, and one two pin digital audio. My dvd drive has these same two connectors. Obviously the digital is better and I will hook it up, but is there any need to hook up the other wire?

Anyone? I have read through the manual and checked their website and still can't find the answer.

You can use the analog connector for a CD reader or writer if you want...
