Hi everyone.

Still trying to figure out what is causing this.

IE5 and Netscape 4.61. Intermittently, when trying to link to a new page, I get this prompt:

Network error
Unable to connect to server
TCP Error: Not enough memory

Running ADSL, 256mgs of SDRAM.

If you need more info, please ask and I'll post.

I'll continue looking, meanwhile I appreciate all your suggestions.

I would take a look at how many ports
are being monitored in Nuke Nabber.
After 13 or 14 you will start to receive
errors of that nature

It also could be that your TCP/Ip stack is corrupt. Remove it reboot and then add it again, this could help. You also could try if you have Windows98 too replace your Winsock files. By running SFC, and let it check for errors. I'll repost tomorrow with the correct file cause I forgot *S*

Hi sachar

Since adjusting my NN, things seem to be a-ok. Just for grins, I ran SFC and no files were found corrupt. If I run into further problems, I'll try rebuilding the TCP/IP stack.

Thanks for replying! /forum/smile.gif

Isn't Nuke Nabber redundant? I thought Win98 was immune to the "Nuke" exploit?
