Need Hlpe with x800xt AIW Drivers

Hey guys

Have a x800xt All In Wonder in the mail to me. I have read that it is a great card hardware wise, but all kinds of complaints about the AIW tuner/fm part.

Now my question. I already have a 9500Pro with drivers I like (not current, but about 6 months old). I do not care at this time to install the control panel drivers and such, as I have not read any thing positive about them.

What do I need to do with an All In Wonder to just use it as a x800xt for games. I was hoping to just plug it in and let it use my older drivers from the 9500Pro (since they are ATI drivers any way).

Is this possible to just plug er in or what?

I am using WindowsXP Pro, with SP1 and all current updates for SP1. I am not too crazy about SP2.

Any one know if I can just plut it in and go. Also, if any one in the forums has an AIW, and wants to give me advice, I am all ears.

the catalysts would recognize the main card, but you need the WDM driver set to recognize the tuner and other parts. you could probably get away with just the main catalysts, but then you would have the yellow ? in your device manager. windows will keep nagging you about the other drivers, so you might as well just install them.

you can download only the catalyst and WDM drivers without the CCC. Go to the low speed section and get Display Driver and WDM Integrated Driver:
