Jak..again thinks for posting that..among allthe other tidbits you go to the bother to post... Also.., eventhough I have used them in the past this reminded me of putting Filefront in my favorites as another great game site.. Thks much. looks like one of the better ones indeed....

Since i love HL2somuch .and even though the HDL res. pack might not be as much use to me..as I have a FX5900 VC still..I am dl'ing it anyways.... LOL :t

They did a similar thing with the original HL didn't they, better textures and better defined 3D models.

zybch... yeah I dl'ed that also for HL and just replayed the game again just the other nights.. Sameo thing for me... i get close to the end and can never get past the beeker monster going back through after you turn the power on.... any clues there?? ( ten grenades have no effect.... maybe i just have to bypass and go to the top of the facility again..dont know really )

Valve just keeps making more and more upgrades and better enhancements and such for the game.... Just the best looking graphics of any game I have played... love them.. Hope they get the latest add-onfor HL2 doneand out the door by Feb.or next year as planned.... ( "Afterlife" )

I just went to the Filefront site and am downloadingsome mods such as CTF and the Tact. Force one and wilcheck those out...

What monster are you talking about?

Thanks Chuck i'll be sure to do that..

I just installed the high res mod to my HL2 game and played it again through someof the start and I Do definitely see the difference.
Models and objects are cleaner looking ( not that they did not look alright before )

heres a screenie of Alex ( my honey )... what do you think???

actually... when I post them here they comeout as about three times darker than what I have in reality...

I have about eighty screenies of HL2 and here is one more showing Barneys new hair. They made all the characters have cleaner haircuts.. now he uses the clipped greased back look.
