What is the difference guys. Just read a post today here about the x800GT, and he loves it. Here is a link to the one in agp form:
http://www.comtec.ca/product_info.php?cPath=5254_5369&products_id=87377
Never heard of comtec though.
Newegg has the x800gto in AGP form now also.
Which is better, any one know?

I am going to read the article now. It would seem at a glance the x800GTO would be the better card.
Any one here know enough to advise me on a purchase on an x800GTO (in stock today at newegg), a 6800GT (in stock today at newegg), or the x800xt AIW (in stock today at newegg). All in AGP form.
I guess the order of slow to fast would be x800gto, 6800gt, then the x800xt aiw.
I am running a 2.4b intel at 3.0GHZ (rock stable at this speed)(stock voltages on every thing). I want to get the best card out there "matched" with my cpu. I can save $100 by buying the gto, if the other two cards will not be any faster running with my cpu @ 3.0 GHZ.
I was at the credit card prompt at newegg just now getting ready to buy the x800xt, but at like $329 with Fedx shipping and tax, I got a kink in my wallet hand. I had to research it some more.
Please give some input guys (considering a 3.0GHZ cpu)
Specs:
Intel 2.4b @ 3.0GHZ
Asus P4PE
1 Gig Crucial pc3200 memory
2 Raptor 10,000rpm 34 gigs in Raid0
1 WD SE 80 gig 7200rpm 8 meg cashe
Antec full tower case (I think 1080 or 1030 will 5 fans)
Antec 420 watt p/s

i think the aiw x800xt is the best card, then the 6800gt, then the gto, assuming no overclocks.

That is what I said in the post before that lol:

I just put it in the slow card first.
I am just concerned on my cpu being the bottleneck, and at what point that will happen? I did not want to spend the extra money on the 6800GT (the positive being the SM3), or the X800XT AIW (positive it being the fastest card), if the x800GT would give me the same frame rates with my current cpu.
Any guess here?

it's hard to tell without benchmarks. the 6800GT's sweet spot was around 3GHz stock.

Right now I look at it this way, up-to a 3000 MHz you simply are better suited with a Radeon x800 Pro or GeForce 6800 GT. If you have a faster than 3 GHz (3000+) system and want the best of the best, then and only then I can recommend you the GeForce 6800 Ultra or the Radeon x800 XT.
However, if the price is the same I don't see why you wouldn't get the AIW x800xt even if it is CPU bottlenecked.

Not an easy decision. The x800xt price is for today only, and I am running out of time. On top of that rumors of the 6800GS AGP was to appear today (but didn't).
Hope you are still on. Below is why I am a little confused. I have somewhat ruled out the x800GTO, as I am guessing it will not be limited by my cpu, since you said the sweet spot for the 6800GT is 3.0ghz. I am getting ready to read that link right now. I think you sent it to me before, and I could not find it today.
That leaves me with the 6800GT and the x800xt aiw at just about the exact price TODAY.
I did have a x850Pro to test in my system, and got in the 10,000's in 3dmark03. I o/c the x850pro a little and got a hair over 11,000. This makes me think it is possible to use not all, but most of the x800xt cards potential.
That leaves me to the point, do I want the NVIDIA card (with sm3), or the ATI card that is faster. I am not a fan of one over the other, I think both make good cards. The All In Wonder does have a tuner and nice remote. I already have a turner and remote (but of the cheaper brand). I am just in it for game performance, and matching the best card with my cpu. It may be possible to nudge my cpu a little more, but I am at the point I will need to increase voltages. As it stands at 3.0ghz, it will run prime95 for 24 hrs (stock voltages).
What do you think buddy??
