about the same. 7800 gt is a little cheaper I think. :t

yep. The GT is a little cheaper, and I think its performance is slightly better too. :t

NOTE: The XL is not a bad card. It still performs very well.

post to the right forum next time. this should be in video cards, not gaming.

The 7800GT is cheaper and has wider availability. if you have an sli board, you could also get a second one later.

if you get ATI with the crossfire edition you can go toe to toe with nVidia or go past them.

Crossfire just came out so I wouldn't jump into that boat. availability is poor, you need to get a "master" card, and you will be a "pioneer" with the new technology. SLI has been around a while and has matured quite a bit. I can't see recommending Xfire without some real solid proof that it is easier, cheaper, and faster than SLI.

X-fire and SLI mean nothing to me as I'm only going to run 1 card in this machine...just wondering which is better in your opinions....
