I recently upgraded my antivirus software from NAV 2002 to Norton System Works 2006. I completely uninstalled NAV 2002 first. My question is after the install my hard drive is using 12 GB more disk space. I also upgraded from Windows XP Pro SP1 to SP2. I installed all of the special features that were included with Norton System Works 2006 including GHOST. Before I started the upgrade I had 62 GB of FREE disk space. Now I have 50 GB of FREE disk space. I deleted all of the backup files that were created by the SP2 install. Not sure what else is using this space.

Systemworks 2006 is definitely bigger, but there's no way that one CD can expand to 12GB. The same goes for SP2.

It's possible that someone has made your PC into a spam or porn server. You need to scan your PC aggressively. Install these temporarily:
