first, sorry to all for a double posting....
problem:
first machine:abit pt5r2,with corrupted bios.IMPOSSIBLE to boot,continuos beeps.chipset is fx
second machine:abit it5h, good, with hx chipset.
uhmm, i boot the good machine, ie.it5h, to dos. THEN, i extract PHISICALLY the bios, WITHOUT powering off and install PHISICALLY the corrupted bios of the pt5r2 into this baby. NOW, with the floppy with the new bin file for the pt5r2, awdlash.exe utility, i flash it. Will it work? will i have a good pt5r2 bios and a undamaged it5h bios, or both will go to coocoo, or nothing happens because SOME info is on the bios bout the chipset and so awdflash will not flash a bios unless its the same one??
anyone know the result of this?
