via mvp3/mx300 probs

Does anyone know about the problem with the via mvp3/mx300 chipsets ?

I have a tmc ti5vg+ (mvp3) mobo and have just ordered a diamond monster mx300... only to find out after, that the card apparently doesnt always work with this combo.

I have a k6-2 450 and banshee(agp) and win98. I need to know whether to cancel my order (they dont refund for incompatability)..

If it were me, I'd replace the mobo and ditch the VIA chip set you have, but then I'm jaded on VIA and look for intel chip sets when I can get them. Had a real bad experiance with a cyrix cpu chip on a via chip board - could never get the CD to play. Got a tekram board and an AMD chip and have been happy since.

I'm running the same basic config. MX300 and the VIA MVP3 chipset. I've had no problems at all with them together.
