ok I'm kicking some **** /forum/smile.gif when playing unreal online and then one of my friends calls and I get this connection failure sign. I'm not disconnected from my isp but I am disconnected from my game. then I gotta rejoin and start back at zero kills. oh so annoying.

Do you have call waiting? If so, disable it before you go online.

It might be #70 if you have GTE service.

go into settings/control panel/modem/dial properties. your modem needs to dial a '*70' before dialing the number. I.E. a star seven zero.
This temporarily disables call waiting until you hang up the modem.
Make sure your house mates know they could start getting a busy signal which now means you're on the modem.
