IE5 and image problems

I can not save or view teh properties of images when I am in IE5. This just happened yesterday. This has happened before like 4 months ago. I am not having this prob in Netscape. Need help.

I experienced so many problems with IE5 loaded on an original version of win95 that I had to rebuild the system. It wrecked the registry on that system and finally either caused or contributed to a total system crash that not even a boot disk could recover from. I still haven't finished rebuilding that system. I'm reasonably suree it was the IE5 install because I tried it twice with the same results - going back to IE4.x made the system functional again, but left it in a bad condition. At this point, I can't recommend using IE5. My general philosophie on software is don't be a beta tester - let 6 million other users have it on their systems for 6 months before putting it on one of mine..... I had netscape 4.05 running just fine on that system at all times as well and can now open netscape and IE4.01 at the same time with no problems. I'd say give MS time to overcome Y2K and look for a stable IE5 some time second quarter of next year. Mean-while, save that free AOL disk with IE4 on it as I can't find a copy of IE4.x on the MS website anymore. I looked 2 weeks ago when trying to restore it on that dead system I mentioned.

I am running EI5 on win98se and loving it !
It is faster ,eisier to navigate in and perfectly stable.
Perhaps it just doesn't like old technoligy
running it,what a shame .
It may be worth your while to update windows
I find that 98 also responds much faster than 95.
Don't give up on it until you test your options
