Hmm.. I just downloaded the Liveware 3.0 program for my SBlive and CL Playcenter 1.53 is missing. Media-ring Talk is also not here..

The real thing I noticed bothering is the volume in about everything needs to be set to max to hear a 'OK' volume..

What's wrong? Thanks!

To get an answer out of this group, you'll need to add details about your system, in this case, specifics about your sound board.

Have you checked your sound board driver out lately in control panel? Do you have the latest driver? That probably isn't it, it's probably a software conflict, but it's a safe place to start.

I've downloaded programs in the past where upon installing them, it is corrupt.

If you still have the downloaded file on your system, uninstall the Live drivers and then run the download file again.

I have a Win98 machine, and liveware 3.0 works fine on mine (SBL!V)

A friend of mine is having the same problem,I borrowed his downloaded drivers(3.0)and used them on a fresh install of 98se and have no problems.I am wondering if the install does not do such a good job of removing references to the previous versions from the registry. He had to do manual unistalls of of things creative and then reload just the 3.0 software.
There has to be an easier way, maybe try removing the 2.0 software before installing 3.0.Might even want to uninstall the card itself.Let us know what's happening and what helps.

My 3.0 installed nicely also.

The new SB Live software is broken up in many downloads. Media Ring is a separate download and install. If your sure you downloaded it just reinstall it. If not go back and check.
