How can I check the transfer rate on my hard drive using DMA?

Download HD Tach from www.tcdlabs.com (http://www.tcdlabs.com) Some drives need to be checked with the 2.52 version instead of v2.60. Note the percentage of CPU utilization with DMA "on".
