When I try I try to play a video clip Real player say "MPG4 decompressor not found" Does anyone know how to get this codec? Windows media player which I downloaded from Microsoft this week just says "Unknown error" can any one help?

I don't think MPEG-4 is even a ratified standard yet.

Microsoft's NetShow 3.0 will play this type of file format. But even that is in late beta testing, I think.

Do a search for NetShow 3.0 at http://infoseek.go.com/ or www.altavista.com/ (http://www.altavista.com/) or at MS's site and see if you can locate the Beta release for download.

A search of MPEG4 should come up with a lot of info too.
