Just wondering, how would you add a new sound event, in control panel/sounds/events ... ??

I may be misinterpreting your question, if so, my apologies.

The .WAV files assigned to events are in C:\WINDOWS\MEDIA. Just add the new .WAV file into this folder and the sound will become available to assign to an existing event.

If your asking, how to include an additional event, I’m not certain as to how this can be done.

I'm wanting to do something very similar...

I want to create a new 'event' for when the computer ejects a CD.

I'd like to be able to have the system speaker beep when a CD ejects, but I'd settle for beeing able to select a normal sound file.

Any ideas?
