We all knows cop shops is crooked. Specially Lando's cop shop. :p

A court complaint said Sean Timoney, 25, of Philadelphia, gave the agent a gym bag filled with about $450,000 in cash.

Authorities said the defendant is the son of John Timoney, who was Philadelphia's police chief before taking the Miami job.

The younger Timoney and Jae Seu, 23, of Glenside, Pennsylvania., were arrested Tuesday night in a Spring Valley hotel, said Elizabeth Jordan, a spokeswoman for the Drug Enforcement Administration in Manhattan.

They were charged with conspiracy to possess and distribute a controlled substance.

Timoney and Seu were being held in Albany for a bail hearing Friday.

John Timoney was "aware of the arrest," a Miami police spokesman said.

"He does not have all the details and he's not going to comment on it publicly because it's a private family matter," spokesman Delrish Moss said.

Timoney rose through the ranks of the New York Police Department to become a chief and first deputy commissioner before moving on to Philadelphia and Miami.

He is well-known in law enforcement circles and is often sought out by television networks to comment on police affairs.

Not quite. The new reports said Denver's law is trumped by Colorado State law. The new law is basically ineffective.

The news agenecies said the passing only helps the fight to legalized the stuff according to the supporters of the law.
