Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : Raid Array issue Dennis Bacon 11-03-2005, 08:21 PM I just setup my new motherboard it is the eVGA 133-K8-NF41 and I setup a raid 0 array using 2 western digital raptors, everything works just fine however in windows in the corner by the clock it has that icon that says "safely remove hardware" and when i open it, it shows both of my raptors and the icon will not go away.. anyone have any idea why this is so? Steve R Jones 11-04-2005, 07:34 AM SATA drives are considered "hot swapable." You can go into the Properties of the taskbar and Hide the icon.. I'm very picky about stuff and I dont like that icon being down there and then if I hide it the annoying little hidden icon arrow thing is there and that annoys me more! guess I'll just have to live with it so I can have the awesome performance of these babies in raid0 SysOpt.com
