COD 2 help!!!

hi there,
i have a problem when play the 2nd mission of Soviet: when loading, the game crash to desktop with a message: DirectX error! After that, i got the latest driver and update directx again. But i can't play this mission. What's the f**k here? I noticed a strange problem: using render with Directx 9 = game crash (all missions), but using Directx 7 = can play British mission. But only British part, can't play Soviet (as mentioned) + American (not unlock). Any suggest here? Thanks first.

My Specs:
CPU: AMD Athlon 4000+
RAM: 1 GB
Vid: 7800 GTX
using latest driver + directx

Check to make sure you have the latest DirectX 9.0c installed and everythings in order..there ( C:/Windows/System 32/ DX Dialog )

Another solution is to install it again maybe.

Quite possibly.. they need a patch for the game since it has just released. Write to EA Games and tell them your problem.

I find a solution: copy map's save from a pc that run normally, then paste into my profile. After that, i can play the game without problem. Anyway, thanks for your reply mate. Cheer!
