Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : IE4 disconnect
At some point, Usually after installing or removing a software utility thats supposed to make IE4 a better browser, I no longer get the the shutdown window asking if I want to disconnect from my ISP. No big deal to shut down on my own but its nice to have the reminder to disconnect. Where can I go and turn "ON" this shutdown window? I sure miss that thing.

You should have an option in IE4 properties, connections to disconnect after a given idle period. Make sure that is checked and set to the maximum value.
Hi Underclocked
Idle time shutdown is not the problem. When closing down IE4 after a internet session, I used to get a window asking me if I wanted to disconnect from my ISP. This window has disapperred and I want it back.
THANKS

Problem solved. I got the info to correct the registry at MS.com FAQ. Seems that this a common problem.
