USB detection

I just sorted out my system and have tried to get Win98se to detect my USB printer. It did it before but now nothing happens when I plug the printer in and turn it on.
Any ideas?

Make sure your USB software drivers didn't take a dump. Also, have you been in your case lately? Move the computer? Possibly, the USB cable came loose on the board & needs to be reseated.

Problem sorted, bios flash may have caused problem.

I did notice a USB patch at MS for Win98SE yesterday. Don't recall the specifics it addressed though.
