I was foolin gwith the bios (amibios) and changed the hard drive to auto detect. When I restarted the cpu counted the ram checked keyboard, mouse, and cpu speed then stopped. Can anyone please help me try to get into bios so I could changeback what I screwed up.
Thanks,

Hi, hope this helps. I've fooled around and found I'd screwed up a BIOS setting. When you boot your system, you should get a message about "hit (a series of key strokes) to enter set-up". Do what it says and that will get you into the BIOS. Pick another choice for your drive. Hopefully you have your drive manual to tell you what to use or you recognize the correct answer for your system. Good Luck.

If you don't have the specs written down for the HD or a manual, you can get the info off the back of the drive, but this would involve opening the case and possibly removing the drive.

Letting the BIOS detect the drive is also another option.
