Just got a notice from the shire council informing me we're now on stage 3 water restrictions.
I can't fill up my pool unless I only use a bucket, an't use my electronicaly controlled watering system, and ppl have to wash cars with a bucket, no hose. :(

They also suggest I wash my car over some plants so the water isn't wasted.
I have a question though, how am I supposed to get a car into my attic?

Question is ........ Why would ya pool be empty ?

zybch

Never said it was empty, just a bit lower than I'd like from evaporation and stuff.
I'll probably fill it one night so I'm not caught and charged with "illegal use of a hosepipe".

Its not a matter of cost, the price/litre remains the same. Its the risk involved in using water in ways other than that madated by the stage 3 restrictions.

Yas got options here:

No Water
Annual Charge
Meter

Spose you could supply yas own from a tank or what ever

They used to put a hosepipe ban on during summer ........... But they didn't this year ....... Mind you even when the bans were on they still used to irrigate the parks etc

Why dont they suck some outta the sea & treat it ?

I'd say you should drink more beer to conserve water. Then you could visit the coulcilman's house and water his lawn with your beer after you're done with it ... :D
