First buy of DVD burner. What is your recommendation. Mostly for data storage. would you buy 8.5 or 4.7 G... 4.7 gig dvds are cheaper but 8.5 holds more per disk. what do you recommend. is a $40 dvd+r burner sufficient or what is best dvd-rom etc. thanks :confused:

you're talking dual layer versus single. single is fine for most applications. + or - doesn't make that much difference, it's more the reader that is finicky.
