There is a single blue spot on my laptop LCD screen. It seems to be one pixel that will not change color. Anyone have any idea if this is a bad sign. The laptop is brand new. Thanks..

often LCD have one pixel that is either dead (not working at all) or fixed on a single colour. When you think of the number of pixels in the thing it is not surprising that one is dead. I'm not sure if it is grounds for a refund or not, you could try, or just live with it.
Who did you buy it from?
